570 FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE RULE CHANGES
The 570 Flag Football League has a few deviations from the NFL Flag Football Rulebook. These rules are listed below.
5-7 Year Olds (Rookie Division)

The Coach is the Quarterback for their team.

There is no blitzing.

Teams have four downs to advance past midfield and another four to advance into the endzone.

Tosses and laterals are allowed.

Teams are allowed one timeout per half.

Games are two 20 minute halves. The clock is a running clock. However, inside of 1 minute, the clock stops for an incompletion or if the ball carrier steps out of bounds.

Regular season games can end in a tie.

If a team is down by 21 points, they get the ball at midfield until the lead is less than 21 points.
8-10 Year Olds (Junior Division) and 11-13 Year Olds (Senior Division) TOURNAMENT RULES.

Teams can only blitz once every four downs. The blitzer must be seven yards from the line of scrimmage (next to the referee). The blitzing player must identify themselves to the referee as a blitzing player. Teams can blitz on a conversion attempt (regardless if they blitzed in the previous four downs).

Coaches are allowed on the field of play in the Junior and Senior Division.

When blitzed, the Quarterback is allowed to run.

Teams have four downs to advance past midfield and another four to advance into the endzone.

On offense, once the ball is handed off, the player carrying the ball cannot attempt a forward pass.

Tosses and laterals are allowed.

The Quarterback has 7 seconds to throw the ball after the snap. Once the referee's count reaches "7" it is a "sack" and loss of down.

Teams have a 30 second play clock in between downs to get the next play run

Penalties
Defensive Pass Interference: Automatic first down from spot of the last snap.
Offensive Pass Interference: Loss of down.
Defensive Holding: Automatic first down from spot of the last snap.
Flag guarding, jumping, stiff arms, unnecessary roughness, blocking: Play is dead at the spot of the foul.
